Acrylic painting on plywood. Created in 1979 for Wendy’s Hamburgers promotion in which the public voted for their favorite Cleveland Browns players at each position. Posters were then printed and distributed through the restaurants. At a banquet held in their honor, all of the attending players autographed the original art. The autograph of “Len Ford”, one of the two deceased players (Ford and D B Warren Lahr), was signed by Ford’s daughter at the banquet.
The only autograph missing is that of center Frank Gatski.
